Jordan Vauvert Et la mer me recrache sur ce rivage orienté à l'est ; et quand je regarde, je ne vois que des rivages à chaque point cardinal. C'est sûr, Shores of the Abstract Line n'est qu'une île, il ne dure qu'une heure, je l'embrasse du regard.
Mais chaque rivage a son décor propre. La mer, la ville, les forêts. Chaque rivage est un pays avec histoire, ses flash-backs. Anglais, français, espagnol : chaque rivage a son langage.

A partir de quel moment l'île devient un continent ? Le plus grand paradoxe. Favorite track: South Shore: Blind Man's Eye.

sinisetkimallus A lovely album from one of the finest bands in metal. It's probably their weakest effort, yet it is still far more solid than 95% of the metal out there. Favorite track: East Shore: In Our Deaf Lands.

Cheveu Miracle Not my favourite from Hypno5e. Maybe my least favourite. It's still effortlessly above 98% of my whole Bandcamp collection.

John Arktor Cet album est, comme le reste des productions du groupe, totalement incroyable. Une expérience profonde, qui prend aux tripes. Une musique complexe et fantastique.
En concert, ce groupe est incontournable. Je les ai découverts au Motocultor, et depuis, je ne peux plus me détacher de leur musique.

HYPNO5E's 3rd album Shores of the Abstract Line is a dreamily muscular response to the deep feelings of yearning and displacement which burn within us. Delicate passages of reminiscence merge with deep seated rage to form a panoptic portrait of the human condition. Latin influences blend seamlessly with riff-driven prog to form a heady concoction that toys with the accepted modes and structures of progressive music. There is a fine line between madness and genius and this record exists on the very edge of that precipice – the album is certainly a challenging, but deeply rewarding experience.
